What is a gobo?
A gobo is a thin disc placed inside a lighting fixture to project a pattern, logo or texture.
What is the difference between glass and metal gobos?
Glass gobos are typically used when a design needs finer detail or colour. Metal gobos are typically used for simpler, high-contrast cut-out patterns. The suitable option depends on the artwork, the fixture and the projection requirement.
Can you make custom logo gobos?
Yes. Custom logo gobos can be produced from customer-supplied artwork, subject to artwork suitability and the requirements of the selected gobo material and lighting fixture.
What artwork files do you accept?
Artwork requirements depend on the gobo type and production method. Send your file with the fixture model, and we will confirm whether it is suitable.
What size gobo do I need?
Gobo size depends on the lighting fixture and holder, not on a single standard diameter. The usual way to confirm size is to send the fixture model, an existing gobo or a holder photo, together with OD, ID and thickness if you have them.
Can you make full-color gobos?
Yes. Full-colour gobos can be produced from suitable artwork and are generally made as glass gobos. Whether a design is suitable still depends on the artwork and the fixture.
What is the MOQ?
MOQ depends on the gobo type and project requirements. Please contact us with the fixture model, gobo type and quantity.
How long does production take?
Production time depends on the gobo type, quantity, artwork and current production schedule. Please contact us for current timing.

Can you make a replacement gobo from an existing sample?
